Vidotour Office to Close for New Year

Our offices throughout Indochina will close to mark New Year’s Day on 1 January, 2020. Vietnam Named World’s Leading Heritage Destination 2019

The nation was recently honoured with the distinction at the 26th World Travel Awards (WTA) in Oman. This comes on the heels of a number of awards for Vietnam, including being named the leading culinary destination and best golf destination as well. Vietnam welcomed 16.3 million international visitors in the first 11 months of 2019, an increase of 15.4 percent over the same period last year.

Topas Riverside Lodge to Close for Renovations

The property located near the northern destination of Sapa in Vietnam is closed for renovations and will reopen on 1 March, 2020. The property is actively working with partners to resolve all affected bookings. Please contact your travel consultant if you have any concerns regarding this matter.

I would like to draw your attention to two wonderful guides who work for you at Vidotour. In Hanoi we were looked after by Tu and in Ho Chi Minh City by Quang. Both guides were marvellous. We learnt so much from them, not just about the history of Vietnam but they gave us a real insight into the lives of everyday Vietnamese people. They were cheerful and prompt and flexible to our needs. They also gave us excellent restaurant recommendations.
