- Granting a scholarship to a Vietnamese pianist, Mr. Nguyen Hong Minh, to study for a Master's Degree at the Royal Academy of Music, London.
- Giving financial aid to the Nguyen Dinh Chieu School, a charitable school for the blind in Hanoi.
- Facilitating key employees to participate in the executive training courses at the Hanoi School of Business in conjunction with Dartmouth College's Amos Tuck School of Business.
- Taking part in various activities to raise funds for Vietnamese handicapped children.
- Building a new kindergarten in Hoa Lu, Ninh Binh in northern Vietnam.
- Sponsoring the construction of additional classrooms at Cam Ha kindergarten in Tra Que, Hoi An.
- Paying numerous charitable visits to help alleviate the grief of orphans and poor children.
- Helping victims of natural disasters and mishaps.
- VIDOTOUR has contributed to the development of the nations of Indochina and will continue to do so for many years to come.
1990 - 1995: VIDOTOUR was one of the first private Vietnamese companies to offer inbound tour services in Vietnam. In 1990, the company opened small representative offices in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City. By the end of 1993 VIDOTOUR had grown with 25 staff members and had moved into new offices. 1993 also saw the opening of VIDOTOUR Hue office, with a staff of two.
In 1995, VIDOTOUR created its travel insurance division, which provided the country's best medical evacuation and emergency services.
1996-2000:In 1996 VIDOTOUR acquired Samifana Indochina, a highly respected destination management company covering Vietnam, Laos and Cambodia. VIDOTOUR became VIDOTOUR Indochina Travel, expanding its services to Laos and Cambodia.
VIDOTOUR continued to grow at a remarkable rate, with staff added at offices in Ho Chi Minh City, Hanoi, Hue and Da Nang. During this time, VIDOTOUR recruited specialists capable of working with Italian, German, French and Scandinavian clients.
2001-2005: VIDOTOUR opened two new offices in Phnom Penh and Siem Reap, raising the total number of staff members to over 100 full-time employees.
VIDOTOUR obtained its International Travel License. Key members of VIDOTOUR’s management team graduated in International Executive Development Programmes in the U.S.A. at the University of California Riverside and the Amos Tuck School of Business Administration at Dartmouth College.
The representative office in Phan Thiet was opened in June 2004, enabling the company to further expand its presence at all the main gateways and destinations in Indochina. At the same time, VIDOTOUR's ranks continued to grow to nearly 150 full-time staff members.
2006-2010: VIDOTOUR continued to create new and innovative itineraries to match the needs and aspirations of clients. In 2006 we introduced a wide range of Cambodian programs to reflect the growing interest in this destination as well as increasing our profile in the MICE and incentive market.
The Company celebrated its 18th anniversary and for the second consecutive year VIDOTOUR was honoured as Vietnam Top Ten Tour Operator by the Vietnam Tourism Association. Additionally, also for the second consecutive year, it became the first Vietnamese incoming agency to fulfill the criteria for the TINTKO Independent Tour Guide Quality Seal.
For the third consecutive year, 2008 saw VIDOTOUR honoured as one of Vietnam’s Top Ten Tour Operators by the Vietnam Tourism Association. The total number of employees increased to 246.
2011- 2015: VIDOTOUR opened a new office in Vientiane, Laos, raising the total number of employees to 263. VIDOTOUR was honoured to be recognized as one of the Top Ten Tour Operators 2011 in Ho Chi Minh City.
VIDOTOUR continued to enhance its focus on social responsibility through various charitable activities. Besides, the Company offered responsible travel products that enable travellers to get involved in helping the local community.
2016-2020: VIDOTOUR opened a new office in Phu Quoc, a growing destination that offers fantastic beach holidays.

VIDOTOUR acts as an intermediary between the concerned airlines, hotels, transport operators and local tourist offices providing the services. VIDOTOUR is, therefore, not responsible for any loss, injury or damage sustained by the traveler, including those occurring outside of the touring programs. Additional expenses incurred due to delays, accidents, natural disaster, political actions and unrest must be borne by the traveler. Programs, prices, services and conditions are based on those valid at the time of quoting and are subject to change without notice before or during the tour. Participation on any tours implies full agreement to the above conditions by all parties involved.
Travelers are strongly advised to take out medical and health insurance for the duration of their trip. VIDOTOUR does hold Public Liability Insurance which covers accidents as a result of a third party to the maximum amount of USD1,000,000 per claim.
Deposits are required for group business in which total outstanding amount exceeds US$10,000. A deposit of 50% should be made not less than 14 working days prior to guests’ arrival. Flight tickets must be paid in accordance with regulations of the airlines. Any hotel deposit requirements will be advised on a case by case basis. Cancellation fees will be charged for issued flight tickets, issued visas and according to hotel policies. Otherwise cancellations will be charged according to the following schedule.
